Sorry about the orange reflections. It is because I was wearing an orange shirt when I took the picture. It is NOT part of the earrings.
I love the ruby stones in these earrings. Their intensity depends on the light surrounding them. Here they are on a dark background but the light was unusually intense so the stones are lighter than normal

Description
When I made these earrings I was playing with contrasting ovals. The top ovals are sorta like elongated foot balls which I textured using straight rectangles for contrast. The lower ovals are textured using tiny, perfect circles. In keeping with the pastel feel of the silver I mounted Blue oval cats eyes on them.
