Medium Large Red Enamel Heart Pendant

I like to start with a piece of paper, a rectangle about the final size I want the pendant to be.  I fold it in half and cut a heart.  This is the final time I can make adjustments.  Next I glue the paper heart to the copper and saw it out.  At this point I forge the general shape, 3D, of the pendant.  I drill the hole for the bail and apply the first coat of enamel to the back of the heart.  Very carefully the powdered back of the heart goes into a 1500 degree kiln.  After several firings we have a Valentine Red heart.
