Champleve Pendant using Thompson Lead Free Enamel in Fine Silver

Description

This piece is made by cutting two pieces with identical sides from .999 pure silver.  The design is cut from one of the pieces and then the two pieces are fused together.  No solder.  Then the colored areas are filled with lead free enamel and fired in my kiln.  This happens  several times until I get the shading I want in the colored areas.  It’s a technique that has been around for thousands of years
